21 September 2008) 40 members of the Fiipino community and concerned Canadians came together to commemorate the 36th Anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law in the Philippines. The Vancouver event was part of the Philippine-Canada Task Force on Human Rights' National Day in Solidarity with the Fiipino people's Struggle for Genuine Human Rights and Democracy.
