1995 from the realization of migrant workers that they can empower

FILIPINO NURSES SUPPORT GROUP (FNSG)

| The Filipino Nurses
Support Group, founded in 1995, organizes, educates, and mobilizes
with non-practicing Filipino nurses in British Columbia to assert
for their right to practice their profession and be liberated
from domestic work; against the roots causes of their forced
migration from the Philippines; and for a just and humane society. |

their struggle for genuine democracy, social justice, human
rights and peace in the Philippines. |

& TRAINING CENTRE (KRTC

a community-based, non-profit society, Kalayaan Resource &
Training Centre (KRTC) provides comprehensive research, resources
and skills training to create a space for Filipino-Canadians
to be socially active members in the Filipino community and
Canadian society at large KRTC was founded in 1996. |
